Random thoughts part one

Am I the only one who has the latest version of Word, but uses an old-fashioned paperback thesaurus to look up words?

Maybe I shouldn’t reveal how weird my writing process is.  I also like to write stuff out longhand.  And I only use purple pens.  Being a writer might be the best excuse to indulge my weird idiosyncrasies.   We won’t mention my research book hoard or my browser history.

Hi, my name is Anji!  I’ve always loved creating stories. I can remember proudly showing my mom a series of cartoons I drew involving floating eyeballs. That was when I realized my stories were definitely going to be in the realm of fantasy and I can’t draw.

So flash forward through many life events and my stories are still very much in the realm of fantasy and I still can’t draw. It’s been hard finding a way to share my stories but self-publishing provides me the most flexible option. I can write my stories the way I want and I can do it on a timeline that fits my life.

After taking some time away from writing, and finding that I don’t like not writing one bit, I’m back to creating my stories and finding ways to share them. Welcome to Tartan Pachyderm!
